Stepless Ear Clamp Installation Guide
Instructions
- Gather the required Tools: You’ll need the stepless ear clamp itself and a suitable clamp tool, designed to close the clamp securely.
- Prepare the Hose or Tubing: Ensure the hose or tubing you’re going to clamp is clean and free of debris. This ensures a proper seal. Try heating up the pipe with warm water to make it easy to install.
- Position the Clamp: Slide the stepless ear clamp onto the hose or tubing, ensuring it’s in the desired position.
- Engage the Clamp Tool: Place the clamp tool’s jaws around the stepless ear clamp’s ends. Make sure the tool is properly aligned with the clamp.
- Close the Clamp: Squeeze the clamp tool’s handles to close the stepless ear clamp. Apply even pressure to ensure a tight seal. The clamp should compress evenly around the hose or tubing without over-tightening.
- Check for Secure Fit: Once the clamp is closed, check to ensure it’s securely in place. Wiggle the hose or tubing slightly to confirm it’s held firmly by the clamp.
- Inspect for Leaks: After installation, inspect the connection for any signs of leaks. If necessary, adjust the clamp’s position or tighten it slightly to eliminate leaks.
