Weld-On P-68 PVC Primer

The Weld-On® P-68 PRIMER™ is a primer that complies with all applicable codes and regulations. This THF-free primer has a 30% lower solvent emission rate than other products currently available in the market. It also produces significantly fewer odorous fumes, resulting in a safer and more pleasant workplace environment for pipe installers.

The P-68 PRIMER is a clear or purple, ultra low VOC primer that works quickly. It softens and dissolves the joining surfaces of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings before the application of solvent cement. This fast-acting primer ensures a strong and secure bond between the pipe and fittings, making it a reliable choice for any plumbing project.

Application

Weld-On P-68 PRIMER is suitable for use on all types, classes and
schedules of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. The use of P-68
PRIMER helps prepare and soften the joining surfaces, allowing
the Weld-On solvent cement to better solvent-weld and make the
joint well-fused.
