WELD-ON® 725™ Wet 'R Dry™ is a high-performance PVC solvent cement that features a medium-bodied, aqua blue formula with low VOC emissions. This fast-setting adhesive is capable of creating strong bonds between all classes and schedules of pipes and fittings with interference fit up to 160 mm in diameter, including Schedule 80 pipes up to 110 mm in diameter.
Applications
WELD-ON 725 Wet 'R Dry is a versatile PVC solvent cement that can be used on both rigid and flexible pipes and fittings. Its specially formulated formula is designed to work effectively even in wet conditions, and is ideal for applications that require quick pressurization. This adhesive was developed to meet the specific needs of irrigation, plumbing, pool, and spa systems. It may be used without a primer on non-pressure systems, provided that local codes permit it. While any WELD-ON primer may be used, we recommend using fast-acting WELD-ON P-75 Wet 'R Dry primer in conjunction with this solvent cement.
The container label provides detailed instructions on how to make solvent cemented joints. Additionally, an installation DVD/CD is available that covers solvent cementing in detail, including the handling, storage, and use of our products. It is highly recommended that installers review the instructions provided by the pipe and fitting manufacturer.
Please note that WELD-ON solvent cements must never be used in a PVC system that uses or is tested with compressed air or gases, including air-over-water boosters.
