Designed to work with Puretec Hybrid Series and WU-UV Series systems, the PC-SURGE guards the UV electronic ballast against damage that could be caused by lightning strikes, power fluctuations, or other voltage spikes on the supply line.

Installation notes

• Must be protected from water and moisture – not weatherproof
• Suitable for installation under eaves or in a sheltered location
• For fully outdoor installation, use a separate outdoor-rated surge protector
• Avoid long extension leads – these can cause voltage drop and affect UV lamp performance
• An RCD (earth leakage circuit breaker) is also recommended on the power supply circuit
